Use cases

When to use this

Extract specific pages

Pull out just the pages you need from a large document.

Break up large files

Split oversized PDFs into smaller files for email attachments.

Separate chapters

Extract individual chapters or sections from ebooks or manuals.

Extract pages from a PDF in your browser

Pull out the pages you need without touching the rest. Load a PDF, enter a page range, and download a new file with only those pages.

The tool runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib. Your file is never uploaded to a server. Pages are copied directly from the source, so there is no quality loss and no re-compression.

Page ranges follow a simple format. Use a hyphen for a consecutive range and commas to separate multiple ranges or individual pages. For example, 1-4, 6, 9-11 gives you pages 1 through 4, page 6, and pages 9 through 11 in the output.

Works in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile. No account or plugin required.
